A very scary thing happened to my car last night that has made it not drivable, and it decided to happen when going 100 on the motorway, My steering wheel started to shake once i got to 100kph, at first i thought it was just the wheel balancing/alignment/new tread, etc. but then as i slowed down, the shake seemed to slow down aswell, but at the same strength. It got worse and worse in a matter of minutes untill the whole car was violently shaking, this was obviously after pulling off the motorway twice and checking my studs were tight.
I managed to make it to a gas staition, i jacked up the car took the wheel off and i found that my hub was actually loose, it could be wobbled a bit. What causes this? there just constantly seems to be things going wrong with this car, i cant keep up with it
. could be worth dismantling for parts.
