What does the selector fork look like?

Where abouts is it located on the gearbox?

the main differences AFAIK is the wiring loom is a bit different, and the selector fork on the gearbox is different. Both of these can be swapped quite easily for ones from FWD 4ages

There will be three inside the gearbox. You will have to diassemble the gearbox to get them though!

If you have to ask a question like that then it's probably best you not attempt to pull apart a FWD box.

Well how am I meant to know if I havent done it before on this particular box, not all box's are the same. And theres ony one way to find out and thats by doing it isnt it! Ive worked on rwd box's before, just wasnt sure on the positiong of the folks and what parts will have to be removed in order to get to them on this particular box

if you've had a rwd box apart you shoud have no problems with a fwd. once you have it apart its easy to see how it works.

Sorry but with questions like the first two you made it sound like you had no idea if the selector fork was inside the gearbox or not and that you have never had a box apart.
