is this common in 101's as my friends marino died last year and went it to fail safe caused by condenser or something?

out of 4 ecu's iv opend two had the issue, and they were both pre 93 even tho both ecu versions have them in the same place on the board, cost about 10cent each at dick smith :P
when it happend to me the fueling was all over the place with foot to the floor it just made emough power to move and not stall, sometimes had to put clutch in an bring up the revs... was real werid also it wouldnt show any ecu faults just random blinks that ment nothing

My ae101 did the same thing. I got a guy in Papakura, who fixes amps and car stereo's, to have a look at it. He fixed it for $50, which is alot cheaper than some of the ripoff artist auto electricians up here in Auckland who charge up to $350 for a replacement computer!!!
Your Opinion Means 1/16th Of Stuff All To Me So Dont Bother Arguing With Me About It As I Just Dont Care.

Thank-You.
