The small port ports are slightly too small, the big port heads are slightly too big. Once you start making more HP the big port becomes ideal.
- The inlet and exhaust ports are quite good standard, but they are a little too big on the big port heads and a little too small on the small port heads. The small port head is easy to make a bit larger, but making the big port smaller is quite difficult, so don't try it - Just clean up all the nasty little bumps & casting marks in the head instead.

misquote! you have not! i was referring to redmists engine, which i thought was a smallport, but as he said above is a bigport with ports filled into even smaller than smallport size. and it was, as he said done by a TWR engineer, not toyota

wot about useing 20v piston in the red top block with blue top head red top injectors and fuel pressure reg and ajustable cam gears?
