Hmm... That shouldn't be too bad. Hit full boost around 4000RPM?

That could be your problem there. Might be that the turbo is a bit too big for your engine to give you a broad power band.
Below about 4000RPM would be less powerful than if you didn't have the turbo, due to being a lower compression for the boost.
Plus, if its at full boost by 5000RPM, you'd have a very narrow power band, around 2000RPM, as it would probably start to drop off after 7000RPM, maybe 7250RPM.
If you had a smaller turbo, or maybe different turbo internals (I don't know much about wheel trim etc, maybe vvega can fill in the blanks), you'd have a boarder powerband, although you wouldn't have as much peak power. Which is something a lot of people don't understand. Peak power isn't everything!

what times are you pulling bzr_turbo?

Should be able to deal to a type r unless its turbo as well
