i have tried this and there was too much nutting out to do. but then, i was in a rush with an event coming up and i am a bit impatient.

due to the fact that the 4 pot caliper is so wide, large spacers would need to be used, or a deeper offset on the disc was required. i believe that the conversion could be done along similar lines as the Hi-lux 4 pot conversion as the calipers are a similar dimension.
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

f#@k you i won't do what ya tell me

i have done this on my 86.
there is a few different ways u can do it.
s13 gear with custom hubs. cressida front struts and arms? or keep factory and use adaptor plates.
havent done the cressida way myself but they all involve a bit of work. would stick to soemthing more bolt on if i was to do again in the future. not worth the effort in most cases.

Josh Young who was over from aussie for the last d1nz round seemed to think quite strongly that usiing proper aeg86 front parts was the go, he said miost guys over there had used the gx60/70 stuff and then swaped back, apparently the geometery on the stub axle and where the steering knuckle on the lower arm sit are different to ae85/6 and dont work so well, likewise he said that every one that had changed to s13 type front had also since converted back to ae86 front... having driven alot and of ae's and having driven them well i believe alot of what he says.....

But back to the point, dont change struts just make adaptors for larger brakes, i run fc rotors and 4 pots on mine, seems great

yea id agree with u there.
when u say adaptor plates .. u just mean the bracket to hold the caliper right?
