Mystery 3S Piece..

Can anyone tell me what this is? (circled in YELLOW) It's causing a high idling problem with my car, its unplugged for the moment, and its running fine, but i want to know what it is :?

Prety self explanitory.

Makes the car up its idle up when its under load...

thing is, even when theres no load, it idles fine. as soon as you give it any amount of throttle, it takes the idle to 1600rpm and doesnt come down unless i move the plug :?

What happens when you turn on the AC with it unplugd?? Slight idel up or does it shudder and not sound to happy??

nothing happens when i hit the A/C, lol only the light comes on by the switch. no rev change at all, even when plugged in.

Ha so the AC not turning on then?? Then id assume its the AC idel up control.

if it is, then my system probably needs gasing up :roll:

but even with the AC going, 1600rpm seems way too high for that considering every other car ive seen using it the idle goes to about 1100rpm max...

Anyone got a spare one i could pinch? :P

my aircon needs gassing up to, but it is 16 years old, so that doesnt surprise me.
I had vtax :(

on the same topic, my mr2 has the a/c button with an awesome little green light in it, but do i even have ac?

which hoses are they? :oops:

(car is getting h/gasket done so cant go and check if i have this or that)

go check at the front of the car...does it have what looks like two radiators?
