Hey all,
I've noticed something whilst reading through a couple of thread on ALSC and it seems like the guys over there get a hell of allot more milage out of thier Soarer's over there than I've ever managed to get down here.
Now the fuel tanks are all the same size. What I don't know is wether they have better fuel over in Australia at all?
Now the thing is that some of the guys over there get up to 740/750k's out a full tank of gas compared to my 550k's on the open road. This is for around 70/75l of 98 Octane wich seems a bit off?
Other than that the car is running absolutely fine. Now what I'm trying to figure out is what exactly would it be? Can it be that it is overfueling/running rich? Although I think if it was running that rich I would have seen more problems by now?
Otherwise the car could be a bit out of tune. If I was to ackquire something like an Apex Air/Fuel controller and give that a good tuning would this be able to solve the problem? Give me a bit better milage or is there something else that I need to start looking at?
Cheers,
Hanré
