Ignition Wire Colour

Hey,

Trying to use the Ignition Wire to power up my guages. What is the colour of the Wire for a AE111 Trueno? I only want it so the guages turn on when in the ON possible and not the ACC?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you can't find which one the ignition is, just use a multimeter to see which fuses in the in-cabin fuse box have voltage in the right key positions, and get the power from there.

or just prod the main ign wires with a test light

So are they different colours with different Toyotas? I dont have a multimeter and was hoping someone might know the colour code. Im assuming it would probably work fine on ACC anyways.

Seems to be either Black/Yellow or Black/White/

id get a test light and test just to be sure. most $2 shops have them.

Seriously, get a $10 multimeter, you seem to have a lot of electrical related problems, it must be $&#$% hard to do things without one...

Just cut the Black/Yellow one and guess what?

Nothing turned on. No dash lights, no A/C. Just the headunit lol.

So it was the Black/Yellow after all. Guages are almost finally done. Thanks for your help
