4S-FE Chasers??

Postby KE25-KP30 » Thu Oct 20, 2005 9:21 am

Hey, I was just looking at another thread, and someone was saying about a 4S-FE Chaser.... im assuming these are RWD, and if they are, are they on the same 30-odd degree angle as the 3S-GTEs? If this is the case, would the mounts interchange?

Also, if they came in manual, what 'box was this??

If they're front-drive, then this is for nothing, but just interested to know :)

Cheers,
Kent

4sfe Mark II/Chasers etc. They are RWD. All the ones I've seen have the engine mounted upright.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

the 4s engines are mounted straight up, the mounts wont changeover, as the 3sgte block has slightly different mounts in the block. if you find a manual one it is a w55. the sx80 and lx80 are solid axle diff, where the jzx81 and gx81 are independent rear. the solid diffs are e series, and the irs ones are g series (6 bolt axles) and e series (4 bolt axles)
