Hi all. thanks for your help, it cleared lots of question marks for me LOL. :?:
but one more question. Anyone here recokens i need bigger injectors? if so, what should i be looking for? stuff from a GZE?

and no one here knows the answer to my super strut question????????????? LOL :?

and still waiting for Redmist to answer my LEM question. If i buy LEM, i can't have aircon, or it won't run correctly???

CHEERS GUYS!! I hope to get the project started soon and go to meets, and want it to be prepared by the next Honda and Toyota Drags and surprise some B18C.

injectors are 295cc should be alright, next step is 450cc 3sgte ones, gze ones are topfeed while 20v is side.

the super strut you really want the front cross member with everything bolted on each end (Arms swaybar) then get the non supertrut brakes and hubs, unless you mod your brakes to fit the non superstrut hubs (S/S calipers Twin pot)

You can still run aircon but your car might stall while stoped if you decide to turn it on while idling.

My advice, dont run aircon, small price to pay.

But good luck with your project. I just wish I had a budget like yours. Go hard

what the AC thing is, is normally when you turn on AC the ECU tells the engine to up its revs ~200RPM to compensate for the drain that the AC is taking from the engine, hence like 1998 said above, if you don't have it, and you flick on AC when idling, the car *may* stall.

Myself, I have always wondered if you changed it using a Link+ to raise something like a 2000RPM, and you remove AC, but keep the switching gear... it could be a handy booster :)

But then again I could be talking out my ass.

thanks guys, now i know what i need to think about. ditiching the AC is really a tough decision for me..hahahaha, becoz my Girlfriend will get REALLY annoyed!!! i guess i will ring link some day and ask them the price difference between link plus and linke LEM.

Should be an extra $500 right??? hmmmmmmm...really really tough decision. save 500 and kill by girlfriend, spend 500 saves lives, but rather spend that 500 on something else. LOL. well thanks guys. hahaha, what will i do without this forum aye. 8)

If the A/C idle up is the only thing you would get a link plus for.... harden up
Tell ya girlfiend to stop talking then ther'll be less hot air in the car

What about the toda ecu which is already tuned for their cam kit? or would that be a bad idea if not running 100 oct?

unfortunately, the TODA ECU is actaully only for the 16V kit, never did they make one for 20V.

Deepends on the car.... Eg, aw11s just run a relay, that turns on when you hit the ac button, that opens a valve that bypasses the throttle (which conventelly has a thread on it to increase or decrease the *bump up*)

What im trying to say is, check it out, if he still wants aircon, just hookup a cheap relay and wiring method (could still use all factory system), just cut and splice) but it depends on the car.

Your car will be the one to run a 40,000 voltage bypass system to open a valve for ac, that runs through the ecu 40 times :D. BAH!

Today i got a reply from LINK

quote: "The LEM will be great for this and of course the LinkPlus has even more
features. When the compressor kicks in there will be a corresponding idle
surge but it is very unlikely that the engine would stall unless you set
the idle to 4-500 rpm then MAYBE it would."

So i guess The LEM is perfect for my application, no need spending the extra $$$$ on a linkplus, and finger crossed that the engine will not stall LOL.

im not using a a/c idle up its ok only had it stall once from memory while idling at the lights on a hot day (warm engine lower idle)
but when you add cams to that idle I think the a/c would kill it every time.

Hey guys~ just a quick question. there is a set of 4agze conrods on trademe, will they be better than the silver top conrods which you guys recommended me to get? or will the 4agze ones be too heavy for my NA set up?
