can i ask how they differ?
i've had both factory items (i've owned ae101 and ae82 at the same time) side by side, and even swapped them in opposing struts, and they had no issues, still captive quite easily... seating properly
only thing i can think of being different is possibly spring rates?

Rear Springs: AE92 = AE101 = AE111
bad20v wrote:Not to sure about the spring rates, but then again that wasn't really what I was trying to achieve with that answer.
If you had an old set of springs from a car built in 85'- 87' would you really want to fit them, if possible, to your 91'- 95' vehicle. In the interests of the person's safety, I wouldn't. You may argue that it would be ok, as they will fit in, and the metal wouldn't have deteriorated too much it that amount of time, but how many km's have those springs already done since that vehicle was first put on the road?
In the interests of safety, I would stay on the side of caution.
If you, Distrb, want to say it would be fine to put these older springs into his vehicle, you can, its your choice. I on the other hand, will sleep soundly at night knowing that none of my advice has caused anyone harm or has endangered their safety in anyway.
Cheers.
(This is not a personal attack on anyone, just stating my opinion of when it comes to handing out advice/information and other peoples health and safety.)

If 'good ol stoners' wanted me to go into more depth with the answer, he would have said so and I would have explained it. But he didn't ask.
Cheers.

There is plenty of knowledge in there, having played and owned all of the above i have learn't that what had previously been said is not true

Maybe in your own little mind..... but in the real world.... no. Nice try... but still no.
And the information that you gave is incorrect, they all don't just swap over. S/S and non-S/S front springs are different, only the rears are the same.
