Postby gordon77 » Thu Nov 17, 2005 5:27 pm

im looking at putting some bluetop cams in my small port :) i have a manual in front of me, this is what it tells me to remove...

1. Disconnect battery earth
2. Remove dizzy and spark plugs
3. Remove Fuel Pump
4. remove camshaft toothed pulley...

You don't need to touch the fuel pump, it's completly unrelated!

Just make sure you set the engine to TDC BEFORE you take the cams out, makes life a whole lot easier.

lol no its just the toyota manual covers both engines..... and in the 4af you have to remove the fuel pump... its quite easy to turn to the wrong page....
