Postby blue-smoke » Fri Nov 25, 2005 5:39 pm

i have used the silvertop gear box in my aw11 (when i did the converson) but the conncetions are differnt (the blue top gear box had a screw in speedo cable but the silvertop has a point plug) so i need a was to tell the speed apart from putting my hand out the window and gaugeing it, i heard something about haven to use the a silvertop gauge cluster?

No need to run the Silver top dash
just pull out the electronic sender
and put in the AW11 cable
it works just fine

I don't know if it's been mentioned but you might want to remove the electrical sender and use your old one.
