ae85 20v 4age conversion- wiring!!! yay!

Postby wannabe86 » Sun Dec 04, 2005 9:31 am

there are 4 wires going from engine thru firewall.
colours are:
black/orange (goes to same colour wire in ae85 on ignition?)
black/white (goes to same colour wire in ae85 on ignition?)
can anyone tell me what the two white wire are for? one is thicker than the other.

does anyone have a 20v ae85 in auckland area that i could have a look at?

wiring diagrams don't show this as far as i have seen. thanks
jon

Are you talking about the wires on the drivers side where they come through the firewall?

have you got it sorted?? If not the black/orange wire is for ignition feed when key is on, black/white starter feed, as most toyotas are. White should be permanent power, either for alternator aswell as ignition feed to switch
