damian is still your man. he's not just some "home" guy. I would seriously go see him for link tuning.

Hey guys. I finally saved enough for my project to be underway, and it will be in the workshop during Early Feb. Just a quick question. i just managed to sourced a whole silvertop block. Was wondering. I know the conrods are stronger than blacktop, but what about the crank? is it stronger too. You guys think i should use that too instead of the blacktops? or just use the silvertop conrods with the blacktop crank?

Cheers guys. Will post result when i dyno tuned it when its all done.

you should try and dyno it before and after work so week can all see how much gains are to be made.

Yeah, try and dyno before and after on the same dyno... that way there'll be something not often found on toyspeed, numbers to back up claims.

havnt you changed the ecu to an aftermarket one?
if so youd had have to set up the vvt on it, so then you can disable it through there as well....

Upped the compression slightly, changed the cam timing and cut back the valve guides. Bunderson now makes 177bhp at the wheels.

You yanking my manual rotary start device?

177bhp is 132kw. That wasnt in your blacktop was it?

Driveline is a longitudinally mounted transaxle. We didnt complete a coast down, nor did we want a rating at the flywheel. However I guess because of the layout and the fact that the CV's are at extreme angles its slightly less effecient than a stock RWD layout.

You make up your own correction factor.

Mr revhead. Yes I will be using Link LEM. so if I hook it up with the Link LEM, then I can use it to disable VVT?

just goin a bit off topic guys i have a b16a teg an well with headers, exhust, intake an vafc2 i made 116 kw at front wheels on beyonds rolling road dyno, the thing is i raced one of my mates bzg at meremere an didnt beat him by a lot it was like 1.5 to 2 car lengths roughly. his car has heat wrapped headers, intake and exhust thats about it an i think he made around 98 to 100kw at front wheels. Do the levins come with light flywheels as well wen compared to a 1991 da6 or is this sorta gap normal between a 116kw car an a 100kw car.....
