FXGTs are heavier, (surprisingly!) but not as common. (And probably less likely to be thrashed?)

ae101 FXGT's are heavier. The only thing I can think of to weigh it down is the extra glass plus maybe more rear reenforcement.

just go for ae111 with blacktop. Actual power + less weight.

if u get an fxgt, make sure u get one with a factory electric sunroof, makes for a more complete car in my opinion.
Oh & dont get a silver one, any scratch is a bitch to paint & they always show the dirt, go for a black or a red one, they seem to keep the best paint wise

& i'd say go for the fxgt, but then im biased cause i have one, good fun car & not as common

We can't really tell you which one is better, they are both good cars. You have to make a decision on which one you like.

Black is the hardest colour to keep clean and looking good. The smallest dents are noticeable.

yeah but silver has a heap of metalic & pearl in it, i.e allmost impossible to match the dents/scratches. I think im right in saying the black has very little or no metallic in it?

I enjoyed my AE101 levin gt-apex, nice responsive car with the accellerator.... and the prices of them are coming down very fast. All the fxgt's i seem to see on trademe all have high km's.
Basiclly just take 1 of each for a test drive to make up your mind.

Both have the 4age engine, and there are many mod's for these engines (so thats sorted)......

Way up all your options and go with the car that suits you best, and for godsakes dont get a AUTO
