silvertop qtb's on 3sge

im considering making a manifold to fit
silvertop quad throttle boddies on the 3sge
dose anyone know if the standard computer will
run with the 4ag tps and acv?
1992 ln130 surf 2jz

You wont get quads running just with the standard computer.

Or if you do, it will run like a one legged dog, use heaps of gas, and be significantly worse than when you started.

why not? they're MAP sensor arent they?

not sure bout the tps though

Yes, they are MAP sensored...

But its the TPS signal....

Quads that are 5% open let in more air than a single throttle that is 5% open....

Which will no doubt confuse the hell out of the ECU.

I suppose it might not matter at WOT though....
Just make sure you floor it everywhere. :lol:

I can do a 3sge side draft manifold & then some adaptors to fit 20V tb's onto a side draft flange if that's off any help with regards to a manifold, the only hassle being the 3sge manifolds I've got are quite long like 125mm from flange to flange from memory that's just for th head flange to the side draft flange then you'd need to add adaptors & tb's, so if it's going into an MR2 from what I've been told you'd need a reasonable short manifold as for fitting in any other applications I have no idea.

ive done the conversion into a
cr21 townace and im looking for the easiest
way to make the inlet fit, wont be with quads though

from all the modifyed cars iv
had to a family vehicle

this is my way of dealing with it
