Hey all,

if possible can someone take a pic of the cam angle sensor / pick-up on a smallport 4age redtop, or a DLI ( late ae92 or ae101 ) 4agze

just wanting to compare with the 20v

GZE CAS is identical to the Silvertop, just gotta chop the wires and wire them back up to the new setup. From memory 2 colours were the same and you swap the other 2, but I cant remember colours :P

yeh same shit just looks diffrent. E series engines also go from the old type pickup (like redtop) to the same setup 20v.

both old and new type work just the same, as i swap my linkplus between 5e(same pickup as 20v) and redtop 4age. using the same config..
also had new type pickups working on an old type standard ecu..

Not sure, will try to remember to count them tomorrow.

It still amazes me how much people pay for the gze cas.

ok heres what i've found off club4ag

AE92 4AGZE ( DLI )

G- = white
NE = Red
G2 =black
G1 = green

silvertop 20 bean

G- = white
NE = Black
G2 = Green
G1 = red

so looks like just a case of switching the wire between the three of them, from memory the wire colours vs codes are different between ae92 dli and ae101 so this could be the reason you only had to chop and move 2 HRT ?

Or maybe I just put the G1 and G2 around the other way and put the leads on opposite coils. Who knows, it went :)

It works, I just matched the wires off the 20 v dizzy/ cas into the DLI 4agze ecu, turned key sweet

2JZGE is the same too, just rotates the other way from an ST185

I'm pretty sure the ST202 3SGE dizzy is the same aswell.

Yep the smallport one will fit the easiest.

Its good you dug up an old relevant thread instead of starting a new one. Shows people are actually searching.
