TVIS is it only actuators/pressure or ecu controlled aswel?

Im looking at ways to help with the spool on my 4agte. Its running a tvis manifold but no butterflies.

Is the Tvis system stand alone, as in no ecu control? I just need to know as my gze ecu obviously wouldn't have the output if there is one.

Shit.

I wonder if its possible to run tvis with the ae92 afm ecu? Maybe get a sparky to figure it out. Probably not since the ecu wouldn't have the output.
