Plugs questions, ae101

Postby slighty_sykotic » Mon Feb 06, 2006 11:04 pm

Hey,

Under the centre console, underneath the radio headunit etc, just in front of the gearlever there are two plugs in an ae101. They link into the engine loom, and I assume most are for the dash, reserving lights, head lights etc etc. Now, does anyone have the pins out for them... I can't find them.

I can take a pic if people don't understand where I mean, but they are two flat plugs, about 20-30 wires each.

Any help?

Hmmm...
stuff like:
- aircon control coming from the heater/fan/aircon switches to the aircon pump clutch
- fuel pump control
- temp guage sensor
- power to the computer
- idle inputs like lights, aircon, brake
- other stuff that I can't remember
Why do you need pinouts?

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

I think one plug connects to the computer, the other plug connects directly to the engine loom.
What model/year 4agze? AE92bigport, AE92smallport Ae101
What model/year is the lucky car that is getting this motor? AE101 5afe, AE101 4afe, AE101 4age?
Do you have plugs that will fit the 4agze loom and computer
One possible idea is to find a GTZ body loom.

I know the exact plugs you are on about and there are many variations of them and no wiring diagrams.

There are things like a/c, Diagnosis conector pins, temp and oil gauges, and about five earths,
two or three for the gze only are for the two speed fuel pump setup,

I've been there done that with one of them, 20V to GZE.

Good luck. (haha)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

Ok, guess its going to be a case of tracing back then.. And I don''t even have a 20v loom (complete) to work with :(. I got speed and reverse lights (I remember where they went). Revs and check engine im going to need for sure, fuel pump is not a problem (have run new wires anyway).

The outputs to the headlight relays from the steering colum are in there some where (as headlights don't work). A/c, don't care about them, its gone anyway. Computer power etc doesnt matter, that's all been done from nothing anyway.

I ever told anyone I hate cars?

And horn! my poor poor horn

The heater fan, window wipers etc are all sweet, same with all the lights (bar the headlights). The inside dome light doesnt work for some reason, power must go through those plugs. Sun roof works.

And another questions, on the back drivers side corner of the engine bay there is a plug with four wires, two are the main power feeds for the dash, one is the output from the key to starter solid relay, and the other one is.....

Anyone know? I havn't found a use for it yet. lol.
