When in doubt, down and out.

the green one is the second RWD101, this is the first one they built, which now looks like it needs to go on a diet because it is sporting a fat arse!!!

ah yes it's that one. Did that car once have the number plates "24V" on it? Saw some pictures of it, I think at the first South Island nationals (iDrag or 4nR) several years ago

well well well,

Yes. that is the first of the two RWD JZ powered Levins we built.

I've actually just been working on the other one, (the green one) about 20 minutes ago.

That is the one that I drove at the 4 & Rota's a few years back.
It was red/white/blue then.

We run it twin turbo 1JZGTE at about 450hp.

He has since repowered it with a 2JZGTE and the largest single turbo I have seen in real life, and some super trick expensive supension parts.

At one stage it was 650hp ATW, but was a bit unreliable.
He has widened it in the read by about 100 to 200mm each side!!
to fit the rear tyres in it.

Apparantly, Last I heard he was going to convert back to a less stressed motor for reliability so decided to wind up the boost and find the weak point in the motor.
It had 650hp atw at about 23psi boost, and it made it up to 32psi before it finally spat the specially made custom gearbox we had made for it.

My brother still get on with the guy really well but I am not sure of the current configuration.

The second one was purpose built for a customer for endurance racing.
It is the castrol sponsored green one.
It runs a 2JZGTE and twin T25/T28 type turbo's.
It has just had another upgrade to a 6 speed sequential the same as the focus.
It has just has an engine freshen up ( as far as I know all standard genuine toyota parts ) and a dyno tune to 510hp atw and a huge wide power band.

Any more questions?

sorry but as we don't currently own either, even i cant drive them

I have driven both though.
The first one, ( on trademe) was really nice to drive,
however the second was the seating position was really uncomfortable to me and I could not really get used to it.
