Hi does anybody know what type of ignition is on a 4age bluetop

how do you mean? what different types of ignitions are there? [stupid question no doubt!]

need to know what type of distributor is on it a hall, optical or ....????

Vr pickups, and im struggling to remember if it's ESA or the other one...

What the?

Vr, ESA? ESA is electronic spark advance in the old commodore's but that's not the type of dist?

Bluetop's are magnetic trigger.
In fact 95% of toyota's are magnetic trigger.

Hall and optical need a power and earth to run them as well as the signal wires.
