Ive had comments like.. "wow, its got a turbo, they dont come factory like that do they ?" and.. "so the engines in the back but its front wheel drive ?" or, 'does it grip good being 4wd ?' Ive also read old magazine articles slagging them off for being upderpowered in stock form, or having too small an engine. With general impressions like this its easy to see why John Doe might think its a bit lame (ga y) when they see someone doing one up.... Like how we view 1500vtec civics with 18" chromes.. we're just ignorant to their hidden potential
you know it sounded good and well balanced until that last sentence...
Haven't been in a 1500, but the B16C and B18C are very very good, I havent driven any of the newer i-vtec cars, but I'm sure that they will be on par if not (a lot) better than any equivilent classed/cc rated engine
