caldina gtt on 18 psi

Well sooner or later anyway unless you plan on running 100+ octane through the engine, don't turn the boost up.

its a mate of mine an its actually running 16.5 psi but spikes to 18 so just wanted to know how much it would pull in the quarter mile.....

Should be good for a 13.5s pass or so...

He may well be doing so, but it won't last for very long on pump gas. It will detonate and that's not good.

FWIW I ran 17psi until one hot day my #2 piston cried enough, despite being fed a diet of 98 octane.

You're welcome to try for yourself, you might just make it into the mid 14's with a tiptronic, but don't say you weren't warned

How many full on 1/4 mile runs has he done it that time? Or is it all traffic light to traffic light stuff?

Like I said before mid 14's is all you can expect from a tiptronic, hardly worth blowing an engine for now is it?

But of course you could choose to believe it's safe and carry on regardless, so I will quit wasting time trying to educate you on the dangers of high boost and late model 3S-GTEs

14's crusing. but why 18psi? why not just pull the vacuum hose off of the actuator. it will b sweet oh and like mentioned, rev limit, then drive... its the only way to launch an auto.
