hey guys
well after replacing the head gasket on my mr2, its using about a litre per 1000 kms or more... this arvo after the car sat for about 10 hours after a decent boost it was smoking like a 88 galant that had done 400,000kms... the smoking died out in a few minutes
i had the head sent to a head specialist when i replaced the hg, and i asked them to have the head checked and replace all the valve seals(tgp parts ofcourse thanks revhead) they sent it back having done al that and saying that the head was planed and mint...
at the beginning i thought it was the rings making the car burn soo much oil, but now im having second thoughts....
any thoughts, suggestions...? i mean on a cold start the engine shouldnt burn so much oil straight away
as usual. any help very appreciated
