Pod filter probs?

Postby The Game » Sat Apr 22, 2006 12:29 am

when my car is in idle, the pod filter makes a strange sound like kind of low whistling noise then every so often the tone will change to a different sound and then change back again...understandable? i just wanted to know if it was normal or not.

will be fine. Probably some other valves switching. Does it run funny/bad at all?
If you had a standard filter, you just would not hear these noises

96 trueno. well its just that it never used to make as much noise, and the whistling while driving is much louder than it used to be.

as above, but when did you last clean it? possibly could be a little more gunked up, and if an oil type, dry.

I once had a starlet that sounded like it had a spooling turbo, it was just normal sounds from the induction that were really loud. Just appeared over time, maybe same thing.
