yes a 1s with t50 gearbox will bolt up to a 3sge ,but it would be better with a 2s bellhousing so you can a supra box w57 is the best 1 and has the best ratios

Yes - I am running a 1S bellhousing on my W57 behind my gen3 3sge.
You will need to do a couple of things to make sure the clutch will release properly but nothing too hard.
I also have a 1s bellhousing off a 22 spline T50 that will fit any of the S motors including 3sge.
The 1S bellhousings from a W55/W57/W58 etc. are the same as the 1C/2C etc. diesel engine bellhousings (with either a W or a G series gearbox).

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

W55 - 3.58 1st gear
Often W55's are found behind 4 cylinder engines - lower 1st gear helps when you have a bit less torque I guess (ask mr toyota).

W57 - 3.28 1st gear over all slightly closer gearing 1st, 2nd, 3rd... 4th and 5th same as W55

W58 - same as W57 except that 5th is 0.78 to keep the revs lower when cruising.

What are your revs at 100kph in 5th?
What does the build plate codes say?
