General idea with ceramic turbos is that the wheel is lighter, hence spools a bit quicker. They're more brittle than steel shaft turbos, and thus, won't survive high boost set ups. Its generally accepted that steel shaft turbos are more robust, and are the way to go if you're serious about running lots of boost (hence the vast majority of after market products being steel).
