So turbo with ceramic turbines are not good if you plan running high boost?
Steel turbine the way to go?... :?

Or does it really not matter?

Yes you are correct, running high boost on a stock ceramic turbine wheel
is not recomended, usally running over about 14-15 psi on skyline turbos tend not to last long, but im not too sure about the Celica/MR2 CT26's turbo's.

depends which turbo and application you are using it for.

with the high boost apps. i hear its good to have good venting with BOV to minimise stresses on the blades/shaft.

There are guys in the states with 1JZ's (twin turbo ceramic setup) running 18-20psi daily and having no troubles. they have IC and down pipes made to help with a free-er flowing system

most places wont warranty rebuilds on ceramics as they have a 50/50 chance of failing in a short time frame.

General idea with ceramic turbos is that the wheel is lighter, hence spools a bit quicker. They're more brittle than steel shaft turbos, and thus, won't survive high boost set ups. Its generally accepted that steel shaft turbos are more robust, and are the way to go if you're serious about running lots of boost (hence the vast majority of after market products being steel).
