Progressive rate springs will help, but you will either need to compromise on the ride quality or shorten the strut body with a shorter insert to get back suspension travel.

AE85coupe wrote:just cut the bloody springs and get some good quality inserts, you can put ae92 inserts into ae85 struts, they are considerbly shorter so will keep the spring captive (you just need to put a spacer at the bttom of the ae92 shock for it to work)
