Other than that, they are simular to celicas...
ROFL!
Hey dude, I have owned a Manual Curren ZS Sport for 3 three years now- very reliable (has never given me any problems, bar a sunroof problem), nice turn of speed when you need it and handles well.
It has the same driveline, switch gear and trim as a Celica- the same chassis, only better looking.
According to the World Cars annual, it was apparently built to compete against the Nissan Silvia for looks since it was outswelling both the Celica and Honda Prelude combined (they kinda forgot the silvia was RWD though...!).
You wouldn't have seen that many (if any) Currens in the UK- they weren't sold there, and was a Japanese domestic model only- they are all imports here, and of the three trips I made to the UK over the last two years, I saw only one Curren (saw a few Levins though, and they looked s***- modding market for UK has a long way to go for Japper cars
)
If you want an auto, I have seen an auto cheaper here in Napier, (about $4800 I think), but I have no idea re: km's, mileage or whether your one has a sunroof or body kit. Personally I think the Curren looks pretty plain w/o a bodykit, but then personally I would only ever drive a manual too. If you're not fussed, buy it. If you're wanting a manual though, look around- you won't regret it!
