20v valve springs

ok had some springs tested
at installed length of 38mm and at 8.1 lift

seated, 8.1 lift, free length

silvertop 56lbs 79lbs 48.1mm

black top 63lbs 88lbs 49.2mm

TRD 51lbs 106lbs 42.3mm

TRD ones free at 38mm and 51lbs at 38mm install hight? :?

those are faily high figures for blacktop one, all the ones i measured (ie 40 of them lol) at 8.1mm were like 60 lbs.

I dont see how the valve spring can loose that much, maybe his tester thing reads diff to ours..
u send a trd one to me i'll put it on my spring tester :D

no idea.

ill go borrow a clamp and some verniers later on.
but from the looks of them id take some nasty cams to bind them up
