didn't get any myself, too busy with the timing. st171 wouldn't have been the slowest.

I got a few pics of the action, will get them up in the next day or two. And are you that young looking dude who was driving the yellow and red 'ToySpeed' car fangsport?

I was happy today, although Adam coudn't make it the day was improved immensely with the participation of that dark blue R32 GT-R which seemed like one of the fastest cars there.

I'm still bummed that i wasn't competing but oh well.

no. while mummy and daddy are timing the other cars........a little car waits

mines the dodgy looking TE71 in my avatar that was at the last event out there.
yeah, Ray was defineatley on a charge.Matt Dunn, Ray and Jayden (silver nissan coupe) were clocling some very quick times, would have been interesting to see what they would have been without the esses.

is that your best excuse?? as a MSNZ licence wasn't necessary. had i known there would be so few entries, i would have entered myself.

Not a good day for attempting to attract cars from the CHCH region. The Akaroa hillsprint on the 30th. The Little River hillsprint and the Kaiwara Road Gravel Sprint on the 1st.

I chose a little bit of gravel work. Had a great day out at the Kaiwara road sprint. I thought I was a mad barstuard, but the gentlemen in the Evo's are total nutters. I threw the car around to the point where I had a little grass excursion, but the evo guys were about 20 seconds faster than I in a 3 minute sprint!
The answer is Helmholtz!

valid piont, but all the other evetns required roll over protection and MSNZ licences. was hoping to get a few 'forum racers' there, but obviously they decided to stay home and not show up the mere mortals that attended.........thank goodness, i'd hate to see any records broken

Well i'm just as bad as everyone else (at least i try to attend the events), but hopefully when i get a job and get the car back on the road again i'll be able to prove that i am actually serious when i say i'm keen on racing around the track. It is going to happen one day. :)

there seems to be a need for the club sprint days, whether it be drags circuit sprints autocrosses, as a method of getting rid of male angst. but at the end of the day, the ones that need the legal outlet, very rarely turn up for varying reasons.

considering, the last time Matt and myself promoted the same event, we had 72 entries, it makes me wonder if we shouldn't save ourselves the hassle of organising them and farm the days out to the many people that would otherwise hire the track. on paper, we barely broke even, so basically, what it comes down to is either use it...or lose it!!
i would hate to have to increase the entry fees for these events( to justify Clubsport's bookings) as it would create event more excuses for not entering and reduce the entry numbers further.
