Silvertop Fan Allways on???

Postby 4-AGE 4-LIFE » Tue Nov 07, 2006 3:28 pm

Hello

ive got a 4age silvertop in my ae101

each morning i start it up the fan is running and still is when the car is at normal running temperature, the cold idle works fine idles at about 1500
then when its warm idles at about 800

ive replaced the temp sensor to the ecu
and the fan switch sensor

does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening???

you have to short wires going to A/C pressure sensor. The plug for it has 4 wires you have to short on of 2 opposite pairs. The plug is located next to left front strut.

there should be plug hanging off loom close to ignitor, but not connected to anything. (it is usally connected to pressure switch on the aircon line).

as far I I am aware it is not switch by ecu, but it should conect to electric load sense pin on ECU.
