Pretty standard fuel ratios for that car, like alot of factory stuff pretty rich on boost. Good power for the boost your running.

Above average power imo for a standard MR2, I clocked in at 122rwkw but that was 6 years ago, with their older software. Standard off the yard.

Your car's fine and the AFM's fine. I don't sell dud crap. Unlike a certain person by the name of Looxxie

That dyno is up 18kw since installing your afm bro :D no black skid mark after start up either I got a great deal off Akane :D
Im just wondering if my o2 sensor or something else(not the afm i know thats working) is all sweet because its so rich. I figure if I up the boost it wont run so rich ??????,theres a tap next to the turbo I dont know which ways up but I might as well turn it and see what happens

Its just stock fuelling being very cautious, they all seem to run pretty rich.
Yeah winding up the boost will lean it out, dont go over 12psi without disabling the fuel cut ;)

I havent got a ebc,but there is a tap next to the turbo(so i dont know what i would turn it up to)What about getting the right spring rate spring for the actuator 12psi is that an option?, Theres also an air tube with a screw blocking it under the drivers seat(i guess it used to go to the factory boost gauge) that tees off the boost pressure sensor line which is still connected to the inlet manifold ,should I dissconect that an block it up?
PS i dont want to over 12 but 8 seems pretty lame

Ahh, but if I turn the tap and it makes the turbo boost 20psi(could be any number) and the fuel cut isnt disarmed then I would blow my motor ..again ,Is this right ?High boost no fuel =bang

Can you get a picture of the tap? Does the factory boost gauge on the dash not work?
If the boost cut is still working, then you wont be able to hit 20psi, it'll cut at 12.5psi.

well it never moved before I broke the speedo needle but after I got that fixed at the speedo shop It actually does go up and down (sometimes) its an electric speedo not cable. I never hooked a air pipe up to back of the speedo cluster unit, positive of that , would the dash boost gauge work off electric wire or vaacum pressure .pic coming

They seem to run rich no matter how much boost you put through (within reason of course) My AFR was pretty much identical to mr2- mads one at nearly 18psi

is that little filter coming off the bov? thats probably why its running stupidly rich on such low boost? GEt it plumbed back into the intake, will make a heap of difference.

ah I see.
The bov venting to atmosphere wont be helping the air/fuel ratio, Ask Mr Monkey on here about the difference once he got rid of his aftermarket bov and went back to plumb back.

when I vented my stock one it just belched black smoke constantly, and the flames from the exhaust that you could see from the rear view mirrors showed just how much fuel was being wasted haha

i got no idea on the cost of it, but that new one from GFB looks good, is adjustable from within the cabin can go from full noise to full plumbback or in between,
