Last time I looked at the thread the comments weren't so much putting down the 2JZ, so much as looking at it from a purist view - there is definitely something bad ar*e about a motor which revs to 9,000rpm all day every day. Definitely one of the most memorable drives I've had was driving an S2000 which at the time was one of the better known Hondas in "the scene".
Wonder what the thoughts would be if someone upgraded a JZA80 to a Chev GenIII....

I personally think the 2JZGTE S2K is very very cool, I'd hit it. Maybe a 1JZGTE one that revs to 9krpm?
