Back in the days while I was active with chequebook racing, anything under 0.500 is disqualify, my pb was 0.506, my approx range was 0.530-ish to 0.650 ish.

.214 ain't bad at all, and reaction time don't count towards the final time anyway.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Why did they disqualify for under 0.5 if it didnt affect your time?

I realise that, But dont they have night drags in meremere on a more frequent basis, as compared to Masterton which is every now and then.

Since when can you do night racing in Masterton with proper timing etc?

They have changed the tree. It would have taken 0.5 seconds for the tree to countdown, if you left before the green was lit you would end up with anything from 0.01 - 0.499, which is a redlight and you lose.

Just because it doesn't affect your time is irrelevant in head to head dragracing, because whoever crosses the line first wins.

No because they have changed the tree. It will still take 0.5 to count down, but it will give you your time as 0.3 if you did a 0.8 if you can follow that.
