positioning cam gears on a 3sge

when the engine is at TDC, what 'oclock' should the white dots on the cam gears be at? from an 86 motor but i dont know if that makes a difference. cheers

on the later ones, both notches in the camwheels are at 12 when the crack is at TDC, most likely the same for the early engines

ah yep thats what i thought too. man once i get rid of this im never owning another east west again. i had to take off the cam gears to get to the power steering reservoir pipes! insane!
