hey, does anyone know if any of the FWD celica gearboxs have the same inputshaft spline as the GT4. also if the GT4 clutch flytwheel will fit in the bellhousing? and also the approx date/ model they went from cable to electric drive speedo.
any help would be great

if you put a GT4 bell housing onto an 4AGZE E58 type box you'd be sorted.
right bell housing, same spline, + lsd.
right bell housing, same spline, + lsd.

that is an option, but the prices for 4AGZE boxs are rather high and i personally have limited experiance with transaxels, could u use any 3S FWD bellhousing? or does it have to be a GT4 one to match the rest of the E58 ?

to match an E series box you could use the GT4 one or find an MR2 turbo gearbox, in which case you could use the whole thing.

yeah i think i wil just find a E153 and convert it to FWD shifter linkage
