should be able to angle it out one side (i think the left from memory) so you can put a hand around the back and take off the looms(blind). Not too hard really, I didit heaps on my old 92. Once off, the chime is obvious and justnscrews.

yeah its piss easy once u figure it out - disconnceting the spedo cable just behine the inlet manifold helps heaps. the loom has enough slack to allow you to angle it out towards the passenger seat then just shove ur hand in thur and pull the connectors out. i could have mine out in about 1 min once id done it a few times :)

got it!!!

just takes heaps of perserverance and patience, both of which I usually lack, undoing the speedo cable helps heaps once you undo that you can pull it far enough to see all the loom clips and undo them all, got speed chime out, putting clips back in is a little harder, just need to feel around a little bit...

stupid me though, put it all back together and speedo and rev counter were not working :(

note to anyone that does this, please remember to replace the screws that held the two wires that are connected to the chime to the cluster, if you do not place these back in the circuit is not complete and nothing will work, as I found out the hard way :D and don't forget the gold coloured screw on the left hand side of cluster when putting back in I would say thats the most important one as obviously completes circuit..

everything works sweet now, no more chime :D

I've taken the speed chime out of my AE92 as well. Although it came on and off at random times, it was still damn annoying.

The speedo drive took a bit of a hammering before I realised I needed to disconnect it from uinder tha bonnet  Oops, my bad.
