http://www.aeu86.org/Writeup/Engine/4AGE_to_7AGE_conversion/55/index.html

you can find information on building a 7AGE there, i believe the 7A-FE comes out of some 93+ corollas? (correct me someone if i am wrong)

7a-fe will work. not a cheap exercise. unless you can do most of the work your self. you will also lose some of the revvability unless you get stronger internals.

for a much more powerful and drivable car, chuck the black tops, get a silvertop, and fit 4agze pistons to it, and put on a small turbo.

now why would u chuck the blacktop, use a 7afe bottom end with a blacktop head

lol cause after a while you get sick of all the dumbarse questions from people that think just cause they have read it on the internet it makes them a expert.
they also seam to think it gives them the a magic pass to skills they dont posess

in barrys core engine(just teh engine and manafolds) there is about 4-5grand invested just in parts
not including labour

is thios teh sort of money you wanna spend ???
to build again from scratch barrys setup aside from the car
you wont get much change from 15k
and thats with you doing most the labour yourself
add on someone to help you with the hard bits.......
20k

now again do you have this kind of money ??
or more to the pint do you wanna spend it on a car

i know you no nothing
its eazy to tell
thats why i gave you hard facts on teh costs involved.......
whats teh point getting all barred up on a project then finiding out its right of your price range

if you have the money and wanna do it im happy to share the tech side of it with you
but you need to understand everyone gets sick of handing out that amount of info over and over again just to see nothing done with it.....
and as for a FAQ on it.....the conversion itself is bassed on teh skill you have or do not

its like asking for a walkthough on building a hybrid turbo.....or rebuilding a PT6 :D
