My aim and flow control aren't that good....

Anyway, he could bug Warwick to try to get it cheaper, or just use a cheaper alternative.

Last time I went to an engineering shop and got a tube of stuff for about $23. Had enough to do about 6 4AGE sumps in it.

Have used it before and works well.
Cant remember the name of it but was not just an RTV,

Thats more like it, I used similar stuff to stop a leak from the sump bung. Surface where the sump and bung meet was slightly dented :?
One 4ag leak fixed, only 9 left to find

Buy the toyota stuff, Ive had no end of problems with the cheap shit repco/supercheap silicon gaskets on my 2et. Maybe a bit pricey but heaps better than having to pull your sump off a couple of times

I used silastic in past with no problems, just make sure you have clean surface completely free from old silicone and oil, put on silicone, put on sump, finger tight the sump, wait 5-15 min tighten sump completely...
