Some key points to reiterate:
It is illegal to apply any kind of tint film, tint paint or opaque sticker to any lamp which has a function other than decoration (eg non-cosmetic).
[Re Cosmetic Lights] They must be angled downwards and fitted so that the light source isn’t directly visible from the front or back of the vehicle.
