Anyone else think this is going to do even more damage to the NZ Motorsport scene? Bloody NZ seems to be anti-motorsport, and I'm damn sick of it, especially because of the money it can bring in, but of course people can't have their sunday meditation interrupted with a bit of engine noise a few times a year (referring to Hampton Downs and the proposed Nelson Motorsport Park....)
Motorsport will always bring with it negative connotations - boy racers, bogans, drinking, noise etc etc in the eyes of a good proportion of society. Sad but true. Maybe someone should make a documentary that tells both sides of the story
