ran a 11.9, then snapped a driveshaft, so i told him he could go grab mine out of my boot (my car has no gbox in it atm) so he could race at taupo, last i hear atm track isn't flashest, and is down to 11.8 atm

he better not break my driveshafts  lol

how'd everyone else do

yea broke an axle, got towed back to the shore to change it, chucked some spare ones in the boot, drove down to taupo 3am in the morning, no sleep at all, got to taupo, raced all day, was friken slippery, managed a 11.8 when the track started to get better, then had my tiem bracket runs, i entered in the 11.90 so i couldnt break out, so i just backed off every run to take the win  oh 1 run i got close to breaking out 11.953.

so a good weekend after all

I'd say you'll have more in it, once it's boosting properly dude.
I'm guessing it's not LSD as well? That'd help you out quite a bit too.

Sweet as man.
If you can get your hands on some used circuit racing tyres, it'd help get the 60ft time down too. I used some on my BZ-G and they were good as. Much better than street rubber.
Do you do much of a burn out when you line up? I'd say you don't really need to do one if your on street rubber. You're only really going to heatsoak your intercooler.

yeh i eventually want to get some circuit tyres, on the friday i just put on my new nangkang NSIIs which is why i got down to 2.3s b4 i was doing 2.6 and 2.7s with some shitty random tyres, only did burnout in last 2 drags, the 1 when i ran 15.208 wasnt much of 1 but for my last when i ran 15.1 i sat it there for a bit longer so im not sure, it may have just been i was launching at higher rpm
