It's probably just a loose connector, but I don't know which end it would be at. I'd start by unplugging and reconnecting all the plugs on the ECU.
Shouldn't need it happening to do that, but as to checking to see if it will fix it that's a bit of a problem. Either it won't occur again and that was the problem, or it will, and you have to start looking elsewhere, like the other end of the loom (instrument cluster?) or possibly the ECU
