I'd saying putting a 3SGTE in there would be the most cost effective way, turboing the 3SGE properly will get quite costly fast.

Question is how easy is it to slap a turbo on my Celica and get it all hooked up, does the wiring need to be modified, and what parts would be need and mods done to the engine?

was a 3SFE Carb version, converted it to EFI and ran 7psi on the standard engine. Main problem we had was trying to get a clutch to hold it.
A new Hilux clutch lasted 15 mins into the 3 hour enduro.
We put it back to normal as back then ( before the link LEM V1 even)
the aftermarket ECU made it run like shizzel and it was still mum's road car.

i remember that
i also remember you saying ya mum refused to drive it untill it was put back to normal![]()
but yeah
2 options i reckon
either do as matt suggests
or convert to 3sgte
all comes down to $$ and how much power etc you want
for fwd i reckon a stock 3sgte will be plenty.
