place for custom radiators

whrs a good place to get a radiator made 300x350x80, iv just turboed my fx and need a rad now, also if any1 is a wizz with the ignition timing on gzes could u please give me a few pointers cheers

Was 300hp on 10psi with stock twins, hopefully on similar boost be around 400hp

guy on base got his custom one in his rx2 at albany radiators, from memory it was reasonable price too.

o and i just thought could my problem be that i took out the brown fuel pressure vsv, cuz all the car does is crank and almost start but doesnt

i didn't have any vsv's hooked up on my car i beleive. i had a line go from mani - fuel press regulator. that was that

ook goan chuck it into diag and hook up the timing light
which do u join over to run diag mode

There are a few reasonable alloy radiators on trademe. You some of them may fit your dimensions. People I know have run them at the track no problems. Elsewise NZKW has some well priced ones too.

East Tamaki Radiators have always been able to sort me out what I've needed, custom or otherwise. Could always look at what PWR or Cardwells, Segedins/STA have in stock in the way of alloy ones.

I got my alloy one mad up by Real Deal Radiators in Henderson ,top quality stuff....

I'm just using an EF Civic radiator for my turbo conversion.
I believe that's what Brendon has as well, but not sure if his next build up will still be using it.

Damn Matt you don't muck around. I'd better get my turbo on and going. I'm a shocker for starting $hit and never seeing it through :roll:

ok sortd out my main problem on thursday inspected fuel rail and found the 1st injector not seated in properly so sorted that all out then it wasnt really doing much when it was boosting and found ic piping popped off at afm lol hooked that up and now it hauls arse lol going to get a a/f ratio done soon
managed to rangi a thick audi radiator in for the mean time and get some prices for custom rad

its nothing pretty lol
just rb20 turbo, ssqv style bov, a custom (mate thought would be funny) adjustable wastegate actuator bracket, still using my vr4 ic and the most expensive part of the conversion oil cooler kit cable tied to front bumper lol

il try get some pics after tech


it feels like it has a lot of lag but my mates whr amazed by the lack of lag must be me used to supercharger

ok just got new turbo td05 16g or something 380hp 36psi on internal adjustable wastegate should go well, could of got a t04e like every1 else but this will spool up mean

36psi? they are efficient turbo's, but not that efficient.....

i duno all the ports on it are huge though like exhaust almost same size as t04e , wastegate has been ported or someshit, all the evos upgrade to them
