If its retaining the hooks under the bonnet then that should still stop the bonnet from going through the windscreen.

i am saying dont do it. For the WOW factor of a flipping forward bonnet there is way too much fabricating to be done. Will be expensive and for what? ...just my thoughts

i do all my own fabrication and anything else i need done my mates do for me so its not going to cost me anything other than a day of work.

never hurts to ask the authorities about legalities, theres a few weird things out there that may not be as legal as you think

Do Currens have the hooks under the bonnets by the standard arms?
Skylines do, so acts the same way as the BMW bracket, hooks into the guard and doesnt go through the window.

But you can weld hooks and cut holes in the guard/ engine bay for that if you dont

just an opinion, but on a fwd it'l make doing any work on the engine more hassles. Ive owned a few rwd's that himge that way, but would not have liked any of my fwd's to...

i normaly take the bonnet off todo work anyways so it dun matter
